THE MUSIC CONTINUES:

Three local choirs will join their voices in support of the Feed My People food pantry program with a free benefit concert on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 7:00 pm.

The Community Choir of Sevastopol (led by Cheryl Pfister), the Lakeshore Singers from Algoma (David Robertson), and Saints Peter and Paul choir (Judy Thompson) are comprised of people who love to sing--brought together by the drive to serve our communities and those in need.  People will recognize a number of well-known songs as well as some new offerings.

A donation of two or more food items or cash is requested, and goes directly to the Feed My People program in Sturgeon Bay.  Suggested items include peanut butter, jams & jellies, cereals, canned fruits, pasta (any kind) and spaghetti sauce, soups (any kind), box meals and canned meals (chili, beef stew, Spaghetti-O's).

In some areas of our county, 50% of school children need food assistance because of their family's low income.  Feed My People/Clothe My People is a sharing program that belongs to the community, based on the philosophy of “neighbor helping neighbor”.  Perishable and nonperishable food is available free of charge to those in need.  Clothing is also available free or at very low cost.  Call (920) 743-9053.

This benefit concert will be held at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church at the southeast corner of Rt. 57 and Dunn Rd, Institute.  Donations may be brought to the concert or to Sevastopol School prior to the concert for delivery to Feed/Clothe My People.
