Student Artwork Will Be Featured at Door County Community Foundation Reception
Artwork created by two Sevastopol 5th grade students, Faith Blackley and Rafael Phillips, will be on display at the community release of the Final Report of Discuss Door County: Growing Older in Door County. The reception will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Hope United Church of Christ in Sturgeon Bay.

U.S. News Releases Best High Schools Rankings
The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 22,000 public schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. Yesterday U.S. News & World Reports released its list of America’s Best High Schools and Sevastopol was recognized once again placing 51st out of all Wisconsin High Schools.

Feed My People Food Pantry to Hold Benefit Featuring Three Local Choirs
Three local choirs will join their voices in support of the Feed My People food pantry program with a free benefit concert on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 7:00 pm. The Community Choir of Sevastopol, the Lakeshore Singers from Algoma, and Saints Peter and Paul Choir will sing a number of well-known songs as well as some new offerings.
